What does "AP" in AP76 stand for?

The Latin term Amor Patriae — "love of country" — was a term frequently invoked by America's Founders.
 
George Washington used it in a 1785 letter to Edward Newenham, praising Irish reformers whose amor patriae entitled them to "veneration and respect" from posterity. It's especially notable because he uses the phrase naturally, assuming his correspondent would understand the classical reference.
 
John Adams echoed the sentiment too in 1809, writing to Benjamin Rush that one can "never get rid of your Amor Patriae" — love of country being inescapable.
 
Other contemporaries recognized the phrase as well. In 1809, George Luckey called amor patriae "the first of all human virtues." In 1814, Elkanah Watson closed a letter to James Madison with his "ardent amor patriae."
